Invalid Data Value Block of Quartz is a block and item discontinued feature. The block form was removed in 14w26a (1.8 snapshot), while the item form was removed in 17w47a (1.13 snapshot).

Obtaining

Needed:

• Regular Quartz Block

• Golden Pressure Plate

• 5-15 Arrows

First, you must perform the 1.7 variant of the block transmutator on the regular quartz block. Then, set it to the desired value using a the pressure plate and arrows. You can only get the item form of data values 5 to 15 as data values. 3 and 4 are sideways pillars and will only drop the normal quartz pillar unless downgraded to 13w02a.
