Terrain Discontinued Feature 
This page covers discontinued terrain generation. These features' discontinued aspect is conditional. In order for these features to truly be discontinued certain conditions have to be met.

The Frozen Ocean biome is a recontinued feature which was discontinued from 13w36a (1.7 snapshot) to 18w07c (1.13 snapshot). The frozen ocean was added in Beta 1.9 Prerelease but the biomes weren't saved in the world until 12w07a (1.2 snapshot) which added the Anvil File Format. The biome was recontinued in 18w08a (1.13 snapshot) as part of the Update Aquatic. The new generation for the biome was different from the original but used the same biome ID.
