When the trading system was overhauled in 14w02a (a 1.8 snapshot), cleric villagers sold eyes of ender instead of ender pearls. They were changed to sell ender pearls instead in 15w41a (a 1.9 snapshot).

Obtaining

The eye of ender sell trade can be obtained by unlocking the third tier trades of a cleric. The trade will be 7 to 10 emeralds for 1 eye of ender.
