Hello, my name is Yichen Gu, a sophomore at California StateUniversity, Los Angeles. My major was mechanical engineering and now transferred to electric engineering.
Engineering is the major to lets the things that I think become reality, and electric holds the hardest class to build the most stuff, that’s the reason goes this major, to me the skill that I can’t control is special, and the only thing I can’t control might be Have a photographic memory.
As an engineer, the only thing that I could be proud of is building something that never happened before, based on this stand there is nothing that could make me feel proud, but after choosing the engineer, I have been preparing a bit while, like disassemble the piece of computer, keyboard, and other small parts, watch how do they work and then assemble them back, so I also have the skill to fix the most thing that I have.
In my spare time, I like to play games, it is also a chance to feel the difference between the things that I just assembled, feel their reaction to the high click rate, and then think about how to improve it. Becoming an engineer requires a lot of skill, most Science department class is useful to me, just high or low difference.
