My name is Jason Soares, I am currently a Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science at UMass Dartmouth. My future aspirations are that I wish to pursue a job in software engineering or cyber security using my vast skill set of various coding languages such as C and its derivatives, Java, HTML, CSS, JS and x86 assembly.
I have utilized my skills to build several pieces of small software such as a text adventure game and have worked with teams during my college career to go through the entire software design process from conceptualization to creation through construction of UML diagrams and teamwork.
In terms of repair experience, I have very little outside of taking apart the occasional PC or electronic device but hope to gain more knowledge over time. As for hobbies I primarily program and reverse engineer small pieces of software through disassemblers such as IDA. My ability to apply my knowledge has earned me several academic accolades such as Dean’s list in all of my college semesters and principal's list throughout my high school career at a vocational school. I hope to use this project to grant me a more in-depth perspective on device disassembly as I may run into issues where I need to take apart and repair things within my career as a CS major.
Below are images of two programming languages I dominantly use, C# and Java.
