Hello, I'm Carson, a civil engineering major at Cal State University Los Angeles.
I don't know my aspirations yet; maybe I won't ever know, and there's nothing wrong with that. Most likely, I'll discover something within my field that I'll really enjoy and then focus my goals around that newly found discovery.
I made a couple of wooden and ceramic projects, one of which garnered me a scholarship award. It was a small miniature wooden toy chest, but it wasn't the build itself that won the award, but rather the circumstances of why I made it. While I was in my woodworking class during the pandemic online class era, I was incredibly bored and in need of something to do. We were given these mini builds, like a chair, a table, and a bench. Because of my boredom, I ended up building them so quickly that there was nothing left to do, way ahead of schedule. Since I was still bored, I ended up making my own project. I got that scholarship by being so bored after doing everything else that I came up with my own project.

They were nothing too big or fancy, but I still immensely enjoyed making them.

As of 2023, I don't have any actual repair experience I can remember off the top of my head. I guess fixing a windshield crack or a small light-up display thing, but that's mostly it. All my "repairs" were honestly minor fixes and whatnot.
My hobbies include reading, gaming, and creating things like model kits or woodworking projects. I do enjoy making things by hand, whether by instruction or by my imagination.
Professionally, I'm aware this will help in my professional writing skills as well as being able to put this on my resume.
