“The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you do not expect to sit.”
Nelson Henderson
Yo! My name is Dylan (He/Him/His) and I'm a Biochemistry student at UC Denver.
I'm someone who likes to ponder and think about "whys" and "how's" so finding myself in a lab felt right at home. Although I initially started as a Chemical and Biological engineer, I felt that perhaps it wasn't best suited for me once I had taken Differential Equations. I do hope to find myself eventually in the future discovering and answering these "why's" and "how's" in a laboratory and to continue learning.
Otherwise, I enjoy being an open person who is fond of their own company and can find myself sitting in one place for hours if I'm given a book, drawing paper, or some of my favourite music. I have four dogs (an american bulldog, schanuzer and 2 jack-russels) and a hamster who I had unfortunately lost after 3 amazing years with her. If I'm not alone doing any of my aforementioned hobbies, then trying new things, meeting people, and making myself a tiny bit uncomfortable by putting myself a bit out my bubble is always the good amount of excitement I find to enjoy life to the fullest. I look forward to contributing to the guides!
