I have designed several pieces of furniture (a bed frame, several coffee tables, and a computer desk) that I bought the wood for and cut, sanded, stained, and assembled myself.

Fun Facts: I grew up outside of the USA, though I was born in Chicago, in southern Africa in the countries of Zambia and Malawi, and I came back to the USA to attend university. I love stories, no matter the medium or type of story, though the one in which I have the most personal passion for telling stories is writing.
