Hi! My name is Giulia Puppin and I am a freshman at Tufts University. I am in the School of Engineering as an Environmental Engineering major.
My repair experience is mostly around construction and machinery. I have repaired stall doors in a horse barn with wooden frames and metal hardware. I have also done some basic maintenance on John Deere tractors and heavy duty brush mowers.
Outside of class, I am an equestrian and a dairy farmer. My aspiration right now is to some day have my own dairy farm, and knowing how to repair electrical and mechanical machines will be extremely useful! I am also on the frisbee and rock climbing teams at my school.
Here is an image of the barn door renovation project that I worked on with one of my friends in high school. The first picture is the original design for the stall doors (there are 6 of them), and the second one is our renovated design.
