Hi iFixit community!! My name is Isaac Medina. I am currently a freshman at the Tufts University school of engineering. As of right now I am undecided, but I want to major in electrical engineering or computer engineering.

Because I am such a young a college student I am not totally set on what I want to do once I complete my degree. After several internships in high school I learned that I really enjoy hands on projects that enhance computer and software technology. One of the primary reasons I decided to study engineering was to try and help with the climate crisis. My desire to build a sustainable future while still maintaining technological advancement and human ingenuity are the primary drivers of my passion for engineering!

Imagine 1: My Computer Build from 2020

My first computer project was in 2020 when I built my desktop. I originally build it with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600x, RTX 2060, R45o AURUS elite motherboard, 16 GB of DDR4 3200 mz RAM, a 650W power supply, and 2 TB of M.2 SSD storage. Since I have added an additional 16 GB of DDR4 RAM. I am super proud of the build and it has done very well for me for the last few years. The white case with the tempered glass window and the RGB LEDs on the motherboard and RAM sticks really complete it. I thoroughly enjoyed this build.
