Hello! I am Jonathan Bentley an Creative Writing major at the University of North Texas. I chose to study Creative and Technical Writing because I love to write and am always looking to improve. In the future I hope to be a novelist, technical writer, and/or an attorney.
As a writer, I am skilled in technical and creative writing and editing. I also have experience in SME interviews, legal and non-legal research, various Adobe programs, social media management, social media ad copywriting, project management, and data analysis.
In my free time, I write poetry and short stories I hope to get published. Recently I won the UNT Faculty Senate Writing Award for Poetry with my poem Golem (seen to the left).
I focus on ease of access in my projects. This entails: line editing for clarity and flow, breaking information into easy-to-skim parts, and giving attention to document accessibility.
