My name is Ryan Arnold, and I'm a Computer Science major at the University of North Texas. I decided to get into this major because I grew up playing video games, starting with New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo DS in 2009. I hope to someday be part of software or game development in the future. In high school, I was part of the Academic Decathlon team, and won 3 medals across 2 years at state competitions, in the Essay, Art, and Lang Lit categories. I was also part of the orchestra from middle school through high school. Currently, I am part of the North Texas Smash Club, and am trying to be more involved than I was last year. In my spare time, I like to play video games, and have currently been working through the Ace Attorney series on my Switch and 3DS. I do not have any experience repairing anything, but I have replaced parts in my computer, mostly within the last year.
