Hello!

I'm a first-year computer science transfer student at Cal State LA. I was initially a chemistry major interested in forensics (courtesy of shows such as CSI and Dexter). I eventually took a C programming class as an elective without any prior coding experience. My very first project was the classic get-the-computer-to-print-"Hello, World." And I was hooked. It was so basic, a simple set of instructions that anyone could follow. I was aware of this, yet I still felt proud when I saw the words "Hello, World" pop up. I immediately dropped chemistry and began taking as many CS-related classes as possible.

I have a bit of repair experience involving electronics. I put together my first PC a few years back. When something would go wrong, I'd take the time to do the troubleshooting myself instead of taking it to a repair shop. This resulted in a lot of frustration at times, but the knowledge I gained and the satisfaction of fixing the computer myself were worth it.

While not working on projects or working, my hobbies include playing video games, watching crime shows, going on hikes, and reading random blogs. I recently started playing the game Elden Ring when I have the time.
