Hey there! My name is Ahmed Amin, currently an undergraduate student at York University in Toronto majoring in Information Technology. I have always had a major interest in computers and other forms of technologies – both hardware and software. I have experience in AutoCAD, coding in Python/Java, light video editing, SAP, and other ERP software. I have had internship experiences as an IT/Engineering assistant at a car manufacturing plant over the summers, which allowed me to gain valuable experience related to the fields I want to pursue. In the near future, I plan on joining the fields of cybersecurity/database security.

I have built a full custom workstation from a vary of PC components and have made upgrades to it over the years – which I’m quite proud of! You know what they say: Building a PC is like Lego, but for adults.

In my time at and outside of my internships, I have upgraded a number of internal computer parts and troubleshooting software issues – which doesn’t really count as “repair experience”. That is why I would love to learn how to repair/replace parts within laptops, phones, and possibly even other forms of hardware. This way I could further learn the internals of everyday items while at the same time educating others of their devices while they learn how to repair.
