Hi everyone !
My name is Jules, I’m a fifth year Electrical Engineering student at Cal Poly. Originally from Paris, France, I moved to Los Angeles with my family five years ago. I have always been interested in technology, especially learning how things work. The first pieces of electronics I took apart were my childhood toys at around 8 years old; and I haven’t stopped fixing electronics since then! For this reason electrical engineering strongly appeals to me. I am still unsure about my true aspirations but I am convinced it will have something to do with EE, sound and lights.
One of the last projects I realized was fixing a Sonos speaker that had simply exploded form the inside. The main power board had a hole in it due to a faulty capacitor. But with some careful jumping and a new cap, everything was working again :
