I am an electrical engineering major, but am also studying mathematics and a spattering of computer science. This is my second year here, and plan on graduating in another year. I'm joining this project with a strong understanding of electronics as a hobbyist, and the electronics design knowledge I've gleaned thus far from my major. I have a strong grasp of soldering, and understand my way around a circuit board. In terms of specific experiences, I have built and modified audio amplifiers, have experience setting up microcontrollers for embedded applications, and have a wealth of physical circuit experience through use of passive circuit elements and ICs on breadboards. These should benefit the group and project through the strong understanding of electronics that they demonstrate.
