Always cherished understanding how things work, dismounting them and possibly hacking or repairing them myself.
I do not have a technical or scientific background though, so iFixit is the right place for me to come by when doing some repairing.
Plus i'm a convinced environmentalist: we should sotp wasting things, reuse, repair and recycle all we build, wear, and use.
