History

When I was just a child I was so curious about everything tech I would tear it down ... to my parents disapprovement. Still this sparked my interest in handling screwdrivers and seeing how things worked.

As a teen I got massively interested in programming and pc hardware which held on to this very day. The first PC I owned was a Macintosh Performa.

Today

As a trained IT professional I work in social work where money is hard to come by. Old hardware is really common and I have to make sure everything works. 10 year old PCs are not a rare sight.

Keeping hardware alive is my part to help to environment🌍 and helps reduce cost a lot.

Yet, sometimes I still laugh when I see what other people in my place did like soldering network cables in place. Saving money should not be an excuse for idiocy.

Aside from fixing things

In my spare time I enjoy sports🏃‍♀️, making music 🎸and having a good time with my s.o. and dog 🐶
