Introduction
If your Roomba is having performance issues or is not picking up enough dirt, use this guide to remove and clean/replace its side sweeper. The side sweeper is designed to guide dirt into the main brush. Its close proximity to the outer edge of the Roomba 560 makes it easy for hair and dirt to damage and clog the sweeper.
Tools
-
-
Flip the Roomba upside down.
-
Unscrew the single 5 mm screw on the yellow side sweeper using the Phillips #2 driver.
-
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

I need to replace the part on the bottom where the side sweeper screws in. The threads are stripped, I’m guessing, and screw won’t stay in.
put some hot glue or melt some plastic in the hole before screwing it. you should get the threads back when you unscrew it
