Introduction

Follow the ifixt instructions to tear down the imac. You will have to dismantle the fan, mainboard and power supply to reach the broken hinges.

Be creative, keep looking for a metal plate. In my case the holes were in right position. If not you have to drill a hole.

Markus das ist ein gängiges Winkelblech wie du es im Baumarkt findest, hier hat der Abstand zufällig gepasst

habe ich nicht mehr gemessen, zur Not Loch kurz unter Borhständer etwas vergrößern. Gruß Jürgen

Distance between the center is exactly 20mm. I made it from a iron angle bought in OBI for a few cents - type OWIM HG04541, its iron angle with both sides 40x40mm and 3 holes on each side angle.

¿Podrías por favor indicar el calibre de los agujeros y la distan cia que hay entre ellos? Es para intentar fabricar la pieza antes de meterme en el “fregao” de abrir el Imac…. Gracias
