Introduction

If one of your Turtle Beach Ear Force XO Four speakers stops working, it may need to be replaced. To do so, follow this guide.

    • Insert a flat metal object (such as iFixit's Jimmy tool) between the green and black plastic portions of the headset.

    • When working with electronics, it's important to choose a tool that's ESD-safe to avoid accidental damage to the device. The regular black nylon spudger or a plastic opening tool should be used whenever possible.

    • Remove four 7.3mm PH0 screws.

    • As these screws are very small, it may be best to keep them in a plastic bag or other container.

    • Lift speaker cone off of the back casing.

    • Be gentle; the small wires connecting the speaker cone to the rest of the device may break if you pull too hard.

    • Follow iFixit's soldering guide to remove the wires connected to the speaker.
