Sterwins 460BSP500E-3 Mower Air Filter Replacement

The air filter is located inside a plastic housing mounted on the left side of the engine.

Lift up the cover locking tab located on the top of the filter housing.

Swing the cover open.

Once it is fully open, lift the cover off the hinges and remove it.

Grasp the old filter and pull it out of the housing.

Remove old oil and dirt from the inside of the filter housing with absorbent paper or cloth.

Soak the new air filter with a teaspoon of motor oil.

Position the air filter in the housing.

Replace the cover by aligning the two lower hinge tabs in their slots.

Swing the cover back up into place. Press firmly on the top edge until the latch seats.
