Introduction
The Sony Alpha SLT-A55V is a digital camera that was released in 2011. It is part of Sony's Alpha line of cameras, which are known for their high-quality imaging and advanced features. The A55V is a SLT (single lens translucent) camera, which means it uses a fixed, translucent mirror in place of a traditional reflex mirror. This allows it to capture both still images and video at a fast continuous shooting rate.
Due to the high-perfomance this camera provides, it will need a battery replacement quite often. The battery needed is a Lithium ion battery chemestry with a voltage of 7.4 V and 1030.0mAh capacity. There is no special skills required or unusual when following this guide, it will all be done in two minutes. After changing the battery, you will be ready to shoot with it again for another 300 minutes if just taking pictures or 180 for video recording.
