Introduction
In this guide I will be showing the process of opening up this guitar to clean the contacts on the pickup selector switch. This process will apply to any guitar with a 3 way pickup toggle switch. This guide does not cover guitars with lever type switches.

Note the position that the selector switch is in when the guitar has intermittent or no signal.

Insert the sandpaper into the switch and proceed to scuff the contacts. Be sure to flip the sandpaper and scuff each side of the contact.

Insert the switch back into the guitar, ensure that the switch is in the correct orientation.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Never thought of this method. Having the same problem with my son’s Demon 7 so the only solution I could think of was to buy a new switch but I can’t find the exact one. I’ll try this trick instead. Thanks!

This worked great and exactly what I needed to fix my pickup selector switch on my Schector Omen 6. Though this should work for any pickup selector switch I'd think. I was getting intermittent issues and sometimes couldn't get the Bridge position to work at all. I was fearful I'd have to replace, so tried this first, and worked like a charm! Sounds perfect again, no new switch needed. Thank you.
