Introduction

The rear case protects the battery and SIM card as well as all the internal features of the phone. If the case becomes cracked or broken, replacing it could prevent future issues from occurring with the internal hardware. The rear case can easily be removed with the fingers by simply inserting them into the notch on the top of the phone and prying the case from the rest of the phone.

    • Insert your fingernail or a plastic tool into the opening near the headphone jack on top of the phone.

    • Gently pry apart the rear case from the midframe and remove.
