Introduction

The back cover is the cover to all of the inner components of the tablet. If you need to access any of those parts, you must start by removing the back cover. Alternatively, your back cover may receive wear and tear over time from use, which could result in it cracking and needing to be replaced. In either case, this guide will show you how to remove or replace the back case.

    • Remove the Samsung S-Pen stylus.

    • Remove the micro SD storage card.

    • Using the plastic opening tool, start where the S-pen was located and carefully pry up the corner.

    • Work your way around the entire device by carefully prying and sliding the plastic opening tool.

    • There are clips approximately 2cm apart. As you are removing the back cover you should hear the clips being dislocated from the tablet.

As stated in the title, this is regarding Galaxy Note 8.0 ( 2013 ), not for Note 8 Phone.
