Introduction

This is a guide explaining how to take the side buttons on the Rosewill NEON M62 mouse off. This repair should be performed if the side buttons to the mouse are visually broken or the bottoms do not respond when clicked.

    • Place the mouse so the bottom is facing upwards.

    • Remove the rubber skates.

    • These are not shown in the picture since they were missing from the device.

    • Remove the two 5 mm screws with a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

    • Use the opening tool along the side of the mouse to open up it.

    • This may take multiple attempts to do so; be patient and careful not to break the mouse.

    • Loosen the top and bottom half of the mouse with the opening tool, and slowly pull up the bottom half of the mouse.

    • Hold the top half of the mouse with your non-dominant hand.

    • With your dominant hand, push an opening tool into the gaps in the panel.

    • Pry the panel off.

    • Using the opening tool, take the mouse 1 and mouse 2 buttons off the top of the mouse.

    • Remove the mouse 1 and mouse 2 buttons.

    • Move around the mouse piece with an opening tool, and loosen up the piece.
