Introduction

The PODZ port is located on the back face of the Ion Air Pro. This port allows the WI-Fi PODZ Pack accessory to be installed.

    • Remove the 6 screws securing the lens cover bezel using a #00 Phillips screwdriver. This will allow you to remove the bezel and lens cover.

    • Remove the metal camera body cover by sliding it toward the lens end of the camera.

    • Remove 2 screws on the bottom of the camera body using a #00 Phillips screwdriver.

    • Remove the 3 screws that secure the camera to the body using a #00 Phillips screwdriver.

    • Use a plastic pry tool to remove the plastic ring covering the rear screws.

    • Remove the 8 screws around the perimeter of the back cover.

    • Remove the 2 screws in the PODZ port.

    • Slide PODZ port out of the camera body.

    • Disconnect ribbon cable from the back of the PODZ port.

    Either de-solder de microphone black and red wires or cut them midway to rejoin again later to remove the camera from within the housing
