Introduction

Replace or expand the RAM memory.

    • Make sure the computer is disconnected from the power source.

    • Flip the computer over.

    • Remove the six screws with a 2 mm Allen key.

    • Carefully remove the back panel, as well the left and right panel.

    • Now flip up the base panel to which all components are attached.

    • Disconnect the cable that goes over the RAM bars.

    • Press down the small metal springs on both sides and push them to the side.

    • The latch loosens and can be removed.

    • Perform both steps again to remove the second latch.

Conclusion

To reassemble the unit, follow the instructions in reverse order.
