Introduction

This guide will help you replace the top outer casing of the mouse that holds some of the electronics for the LED lighting. Be sure to use caution when unplugging the wires, for this could result in the mouse not working properly. Also use caution when removing the plastic shell, it is fragile and it could be cracked upon removal.

    • Peel back the two teflon tape from the top corners and the one larger one from the bottom with a spudger.

    • Remove the four 7mm screws using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

    • Gently remove the top plastic plate of the mouse.

    • Unplug the white cord from the circuit board.

    • Lightly pull the two plastic sides of the mouse to remove them.

do you know where i can get a new top body section? i have a molten that stopped left clicking on every click, i opened it up and the plastic pretty much was worn away
