The blade is located within its upper blade guard and lower swing guard assembly.

Using a H-6 mm Allen Key, remove the 3/8 - 16 UNC LH screw, washer, and outer blade washer that fixes the blade in place.

Remove the blade by gingerly grabbing towards its center, preventing any injury from occurring.
