Introduction

This guide shows how to replace the Presto PopLite 04820 Popping Chamber base. The Popping Chamber Base may need to be replaced if it has been coated with any popcorn residue that is permanent. Be sure that the PopLite is unplugged from the wall and has had time after use to cool down before working on the device.

    • Turn Presto Popper upside down.

    • Remove the four 9 mm Phillips #2 screws from the base.

    • Once all four screws are removed, take the base off.

    • Remove the four 13 mm Phillips #2 screws.

    • Remove the entire cavity that holds the motor from the base of the PopLite.

    • Be gentle while taking the motor out of the base to avoid wire damage.

    • Turn the popping chamber base sideways.

    • Now remove popping chamber base.
