    • Remove the eight 11 mm screws on the bottom of the vacuum with the Phillips #1 screwdriver.

    • Pull the two hard plastic covers off of the floor brush piece.

    • Take the motor and floor brush out of their slot and pull the floor brush off of the motor.

    • This is the perfect opportunity to clean the brush as well.

    • Remove the two 9 mm screws with the Phillips #1 screwdriver and pull the plastic piece off of the motor.
