Introduction

If coffee keeps spilling out of your Moka pot and won’t stay in properly, then it’s probably missing a gasket or the gasket itself is too old and needs to be replaced. Replacing a decaying gasket is essential to prevent any leaks or spills. A rubber gasket should be replaced every six months to properly maintain the Moka pot.

I've been using an espresso pot for years and have never seen a gasket on the funnel. I need size info for the gasket around the filter in the top of the half of the pot. The reservoir hold 8 oz. of water. Wish more info was available.
