Introduction
A motherboard is the main circuit board that connects and controls all other components of a device. If your LG G Pad F 8.0 is not working correctly and your screen or other components are in working condition, use this guide to replace the motherboard. When completing this guide, be sure to keep track of small and hard to lose parts during this process.

Place the tablet with the screen facing down.

Open the SIM port on the top right corner of the tablet.

Press the SIM card to pop it out.

Remove the SIM card from the tablet.

Use the iFixit opening tool to pry the back cover off of the tablet.

Work your way all the way around the edge of the screen, and remove the back cover when it is loose.

Use the iFixit opening tool to disconnect the multicolor wire cables from the motherboard.

Disconnect the top of the orange ribbon cable from the motherboard.

Detach the front facing camera ribbon cable from the motherboard.

Remove the seven 2 mm screws using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

Use the iFixit opening tool and pry up on the motherboard to remove it.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
