Introduction

If your Kodak EasyShare V570 is not able to charge, its battery might be dead. It would be a good idea to replace your battery, You can use this guide to help you replace the battery. This battery is low voltage, so there is little risk of being electrocuted or shocked with it. There is no need for tools in this guide, your hands will work fine. The battery for the Kodak EasyShare V570 is a Li-Ion KLIC-7001 rechargeable battery, keep in mind not all Li-Ion batteries made by Kodak are compatible with this camera.

Make sure to turn off your camera before continuing.

Step 1

Turn off your camera before beginning the replacement.
Take a finger or two and slide back the compartment where the battery will be and lift it up.

Step 2

Be careful when pulling back the brown tap it can be a little tricky.
Push back the brown tab with your finger.

Step 3

Take out the old battery from its compartment with 2 fingers
If it doesn't come out that way turn the camera towards you and let it slide out onto your hand.

Step 4

Insert the new battery by pulling down the brown mark.
Grab the new battery and insert it into the battery compartment
Please do not use force while inserting the new battery.
Make sure that the battery has its corner facing down and inwards at the camera.
