Introduction
The front bumper needs to be removed to perform maintenance on some parts of the vehicle that may not be accessible just by opening the hood. This guide will show you how to unclip and remove your front bumper!
If you are replacing your front bumper, don’t forget to install the license plate.
Tools
-
-
Open the hood and unscrew the 10mm bolts located at the top.
-
Unscrew the screw located at the side top corner under the fender, repeat on the other side.
-
-
-
Unscrew 4 screws located underneath the front of the front bumper.
-
With the flathead, unclip the 2 push rivets underneath the side of the front bumper, disconnecting each fender from the bumper.
-
Repeat on the other side.
-
-
-
Gently, pull the side corner loose.
-
Pull from the car and slightly downwards to detach the remaining corner.
-
Repeat on the other side.
-
-
-
The bumper is now only attached with 2 clips at the top.
-
Push the front of each clip towards the car and unlatch it.
-
-
-
Hold the bumper in the center and remove it by moving it down and outwards.
-
Some of the 4 bottom nut clips might move or detach entirely when removing the bumper. Ensure these are at their correct positions.
-
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

In mine there were also two screws at the corners featured in step 3 that needed removing.
Other screws than you need to remove in step 1 photo 2/3?

Followoing your instruction on Step 3. I break 3 small clips that attach the bumper on the side. Now without the 3 clips, my bumper looks a bit overhang from the side
