Introduction

When you want to clean the inside of sawdust, or replace a part, you will need to open up the jigsaw. This guide will not only show how to open it, but also which specific steps are needed to close it again.

    • Make sure the jigsaw is unplugged.

    • Unscrew the bolt holding the guide plate to the jigsaw.

    • Unscrew the 10 screws holding the 2 frame halves together.

    • Separate the 2 halves by slowly prying them apart, going around the edges evenly.

    • When separated, take care of some loose parts.

    • The nut holding the guide plate bolt.

    • Piece of plastic holding some cables.

    • Metal strip pushing the blade back.

    • Regardless of how the halves are separated, to put them back together, it is practical to put the saw blade mechanism in the halve with the rest of the parts.

    • Then, make sure the right parts line up and are fitted correctly:

    • The holes for the blade holder. The axis is located on the other halve.

    • The blade driver.

    • The blade guide.

    • The metal strip.

    • Screw everything back together.
