Introduction

When playing Video Games, every button on your controller has a purpose and a function. Without one of the buttons, your game-play is incomplete and sometimes impossible. Unfortunately, the Nintendo Joy-Cons are notorious for jammed ZR and ZL triggers. This can be annoying, but it's an easy fix. Follow these steps, and your Joy-Con will be fully operational in no time at all

  1. BLTOaMcwshNyBQxh
    • Using the Tri-Point Screwdriver, remove the 4 screws keeping the Joy-Con's shell together.

  2. 2fHgvcQKJfHJHJKn
    • Lift the shell to reveal the internals of the Joy-Con

    • If you are fixing the opposite-side Joy-Con, it will appear to be a mirror image

  3. Hqn2dcLDtOKs5myP
    • Locate the ZR or ZL Button inside the Joy-Con Controller

  4. uWSYWoxJcu1A3crS
    • Use tweezers to lift the ZL button, then put it back into it's correct position

    • Put the button in a position where clicking is possible

  5. rpuqIrEFqDZAokQa
    • Using the Tri-Point screwdriver, put the 4 screws back into place.

Conclusion

Congratulations, you did it!
