Introduction

Round head ratchets are useful and robust tools, but can sometimes need repair. The techniques covered in this guide will enable you to maintain and also repair ratchets that are stuck, frozen, or neglected. This guide covers the disassembly, lubrication, and reassembly process of a Craftsman 43175 ratchet, but can be used as reference for many other round head ratchets as the designs are all very similar.

Very clear and accurate, especially for the spring shape and its positioning in installation, which helped me to fix the problem with it.
