This guide will walk you through how to clean the optical sensor to reduce lagging, step-by-step. This fast-fix should take 10 minutes maximum. The tools needed include:

  • Phillips head screwdriver
  • Q-tips or a soft cloth
  • 90% Isopropyl alcohol

    • Start by flipping the mouse over to view the flat side of the mouse.

    • Remove the mouse feet to reveal the screws holding the bottom and top part of the mouse together.
