Introduction
If the device is not charging, follow this guide to cleaning or replacing the charging cable. You will need a spudger and a spare type-c charging cable on hand.

Clear out any buildup carefully with a plastic tool, never metal.

Gently rub the plastic tool of choice along the charging port and remove and dust that may have built up over time.

Try the charger again, you should see a red LED indicator if the device is charging.

A red light should appear above the charging port when plugged in, if it does not then the charging cable should be replaced.

Purchase a replacement type-c charger or use another charger you already own to test again.
