Introduction

    • flip your speaker onto its back.

    • using your scissors, carefully cut through the fabric just enough so you can remove it from the speaker's body.

    • using your spludger, pry out the 8 plastic plugs that are hiding the screws.

    • using your screwdriver, remove the 8 screws that are holding the speaker's body together.

    • using your spludger, carefully pry into the base.

    • be careful as to not damage the ribbon cable that is still attached to the motherboard.

    • using your screwdriver, remove the 6 screws that are holding the speaker in place.

    • using the spludger, carefully pry under the speaker to get it out.

    • be very careful when prying as there are wires that are connected to the motherboard.

    • when replacing the new woofer, apply the new seal.

    • carefully using 2 fingers, remove both of the connectors that connect to the speaker from the motherboard.
