Introduction
Is your HTC Desire 610 not holding a charge? Instead of taking it to your phone provider, follow these steps and you can replace that old battery in no time! It's as simple as: take off the back, unscrew the circuit cover, pry out the old battery, and put in a new one. Ta-dah!
Tools
-
-
Using plastic opening or prying tool, take off the back cover of the phone.
-
The SD slot opens an area where the edge of the back is exposed and can be pried open easily.
-
-
-
Using small plastic opening tool, disconnect the wire connection. Do this by carefully inserting tool under wires and pulling straight up.
-
-
-
Use the plastic opening tool - you can use a larger one, or keep using the small one - to pry out the battery.
-
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Hi thanks for the useful video, however after changing it the new battery didnt work. I tried charging and turning on. I replaced with the old one which still charged and was usable but this then also didnt work. Ive checked connections etc. Any other suggestions? Many thanks

@simon and anybody, Another suggestion is to control the connect cable screen which passes under the battery and plugs upside down under the motherboard because it is frequent that it disconnects when we remove the old battery and the smartphone no longer restarts Next.
Thank you very much to the author of this tutorial which I serve me for a friend in January 2024
