Introduction

All phones have an antenna in them, this is what allows us to make phone calls and get signals from cell-phone towers. These fixes are generally easy, because the antennas are just small, paper-looking strips that are glued somewhere in or on the chassis of the phone.

    • Remove the four 1.2mm screws in the corners to release the front of the phone from the back, then pry it off with the plastic opening tool.

    • Remove the back of the phone from the front.

    • Use a spudger to gently lift one side of the antenna strip up, then pull it off. This needs to be done in all four corners.
