    • Unscrew the 10.5mm screw on the left of the desktop using your hand.

    • If it is too tight you may use a torx-head screwdriver or a flat-head screwdriver.

Im looking to replace the fan in mine, what size would I look for, or even what model would be best?

Did you ever determine what fan to use ? I need to order one for my system.

I bought the Philips #000 Screwdriver from iFixit as listed above. It is not even close to what is needed. That screwdriver is like a jewelers tiny Philips head. It needs a much bigger screwdriver.

Fails to mention the most important part of the entire procedure. That would be to remove the old thermal paste from the top of the CPU with 91-99% isopropyl alcohol and re-apply new thermal paste. Short of doing this almost guarantees failure to maintain proper cooling.
