Introduction

The Garmin fenix 6X Sapphire is a fitness watch identified by Garmin as part numbers 010-02157-10, 010-02158-10, and 010-02159-10, depending on the size of the case. The motherboard connects the components together so they can function. The motherboard is located on top of the battery, so if you need to access the battery, you will need to remove the motherboard. A Jimmy is not required but could be helpful. Signs that the motherboard needs replacing are: watch not turning on with a new battery, watch not displaying with new screen, or obvious damage to the board itself upon examination. When removing the motherboard be careful to not damage it, tear the connectors, or cause an electrostatic discharge.

Where can we buy a garmin fenix motherboard?

Olivier Schmidt -

I have a tactix delta I want to repair a button on (middle left side, as the button is shattered internally), and it feels next to impossible trying to find replacement parts. for as easy as it is to disassemble, you'd think it would be easy to source parts... but no... and the only way to get it fixed via Garmin is to trade it in for $150, and you'll receive a different refurbished one!!! so disappointing. it almost feels like I wasted $1000.
