Push the red lever downward to open the clear bin. You may need to do this over a trash bin if there is debris in the clear bin.

Push the red lever downward again while pulling the clear bin away from the main body of the Dyson vacuum.

Locate the 10mm screw on the side of the battery pack closest to the purple cyclone of the vacuum

Use the 2.0 Phillips head screwdriver to remove the 10mm screw

Locate the 10mm screw on the back of the handle on the opposite side of the red trigger button

Use the 2.0 philips head screwdriver to remove the 10mm screw

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

I paid just £30 for a black & decker dust buster 10yrs ago & you tell me you want £60 for a replacement battery pack after 3yrs. Dyson has to do better. Your records don’t show that you agreed to replace the pack while the product was under gaurantee so this battery isn’t even 2yrs old!
