Dexter Wired Belt Sander - 900BS2.5 Replacement Speed Variable

Remove the handle, by unscrewing the screw.

Remove the strip by leverling.

Unscrew the 4 screws.

Remove the belt, then unscrew the screws from the shell to access the engine.

Remove the screws from the hull to have access inside and allow the coals to be blocked.

Lift the speed variator, you can use a small screwdriver to get it out.

Turn the dimmer over to have good access to be able to unweld the wires.

Unweld the cables connected to the motor and suck the excess with a pump.

Unscrew the two screws from the switch to extract the second cable.

To extract the cables you can use a clamp.

Change the speed variator and then disconnect the cable from the switch.

Reseating the motor cables to the dimmer.

Replace the dimmer in its housing.

Screw the four screws.

Replace the tip, strip and handle.
