Introduction

In this guide, we will be going over the process of replacing the speakers on the Dell Latitude 3380. It is a simple process that only requires a few steps.

The speakers function as a way for audio to be played while using the laptop. They are used for anything from music to watching videos online.

    • Turn the laptop over so that the back is facing up.

    • Remove the nine 3 mm screws with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

    • Use an opening tool to pry the back cover away from the laptop.

    • Using the nylon spudger, pry off the velcro straps attaching the cable to the chassis.

    • Using your fingers, unhook the last part of the cable from this metal hook.

    • Gently lift the speakers from the chassis.

    • They will be attached via velcro to it so you should have some resistance. This is normal.
